You will need:

  1. Dishwasher
  2. Cleaning detergent
  3. Kitchen antibacterial cleaner
  4. Clean rag
  5. Paper towel
  6. Hose

Steps:

  1. The easiest way to clean your electronic air is by using a dishwasher. Make sure you have a big dishwasher which is big enough for the electronic cleaning cells. For the cleaning product, you can use a regular detergent. Place the electronic cleaner cells on the side with the wires up. Then, set your dishwasher to a normal cycle.
  2. Another way to clean your electronic air cleaner is by using hose. Take the electronic air cleaner cells outside of your house. You can either use normal water hose or a high pressure hose. If you are using a high pressure one, just make sure to use medium setting or grip the spray nozzle higher from the cells to prevent pressure which be damaging while cleaning them. Then, hit the cells from every angle with the spray nozzle. If you want a cleaner result, spray cleaner detergent beforehand.
  3. If you are left with no options, then using your hands is the best answer. You can simply use a clean rag or a paper towel. Wet it first with some water and wipe the metal plates carefully. You could also use a kitchen antibacterial cleaner or a specific cleaner that you can purchase in any home improvement stores for a better cleaning result.
