Many of us still stash old greetings card and the gift wraps in our house. We keep it for the sake of memories of them and the beautiful design and pattern as well. To throw them away, our hands seem tied up for this task. For this Christmas season, use them as a festive greeting card and gift wraps scraps as display. You can make a beautiful, impressing and unique Christmas garland for your house decoration. You can decorate this garland along your stairs, banister or the entryway. Decorate with green garland and ribbons to make it more Christmas look. Here’s how to do it:

You will need:

  • Your collection of greeting cards and gift wraps
  • Glue stick
  • Clothespins
  • Ribbon
  • Paper cutter

How to make it:

  • For the hang, dab one side of a clothespin with a glue stick. Cover the glued surface with paper gift wraps of your choice. Trim the excess of paper along the side of clothespin with a paper cutter or craft knife. Repeat the same process with the other side of the clothespin.
  • Next, clip the clothespins along a length of ribbon of your choice. The ribbon’s length depends on how much you want to hang your greeting cards.
  • Finally, attach your collection of greeting cards with the clothespin along the ribbon.
